Midweek treat, Banana Bread

This recipe is from Sophie Dahls book "Miss Dahl's voluptuous delights". It's a greate book with amazing pictures and tempting recipes.

Banana Bread
75 g soft butter
4 ripe bananas mashed up
200 g soft brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch of salt
170 g flour

Preheat the oven to 180C.
Pour the mashed bananas into a big mixing bowl. Mix in the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Add the bakingsoda and salt and mix in the flour last. Pour into a prepared bread tin (23 x 13 cm). 
Bake for 1 hour, remove and cool. Serve in slices with a little butter.

Tastes great with chai tea.
